New community venue for a free Enhanced Health Check this August
Free Enhanced Health Checks (EHCs) are available at different community venues around North Kensington this August.
These half hour appointments with a dedicated clinician are a popular way for North Kensington residents living and working in the area, who have been affected by the Grenfell Tower fire, to support their health and wellbeing.
Consisting of a basic health review and respiratory check there's also the opportunity to discuss any other concerns you may have. Onward referrals will be made by the clinician, if necessary. Further information is available here.
Edward Woods Community Centre ihas kindly agreed to start hosting these checks on the first Friday of every month, starting on Friday 2 August (2024). This community centre is in the heart of the Edward Woods Estate and offers a wide range of activities and services for families, elders and individuals in the local community.
Here's how you can book your guaranteed slot (walk ins will be subject to on the day availability ):
- Choose your date, then send an email with your name, date of birth and contact number to: nhsnwl.grenfellenhancedhealth@nhs.net. The service will then make contact to arrange an appointment. Enhanced health checks are also available at your local GP practice.
- Alternatively, you can call 07768 271 733 and speak to Matan (Mon-Fri 9am-5pm).
- If you want your family members to be checked out at the same time, just mention at the time of booking as there may be free slots available.
