LancWest to host a free family health day
North Kensington Resource Centre and the NHS will jointly host a family health day during half term week, with something on offer for all the family.
Families attending the event on Wednesday 29 May (starting from 2pm until 5pm) can get their blood pressure checked and also forward book an Enhanced Health Check (EHC) for themselves and/ or other family members for a future date.
Change4life is also on hand to offer nutrition and wellbeing advice and you can listen into one of Family Action bite size sessions on budgeting and healthy eating.
Older children can view a Fit for Life Youth boxing session whereas younger Younger children can enjoy a story session courtesy of Playground theatre.
Leaflets on a variety of topics will be available in different languages and HeyGirls, a social enterprise dedicated to eradicating period poverty in the UK, will offer free period products.
