Working together to decide what future health services and support should look like for those affected by the Grenfell Tower fire.

In April 2023 NHS North West London and NHS England confirmed its ongoing commitment to making sure that the right services are in place to meet the health needs of communities affected by the Grenfell Tower fire in North Kensington in the long term.

The North Kensington Recovery Programme (2025–2029) focuses on creating a community-led recovery plan for those affected by the Grenfell Tower fire. The initiative aims to ensure future health services and support are culturally sensitive, transparent, and shaped by the community. This page summarises key resources and opportunities to get involved in shaping these essential services.

For over seven years, survivors, bereaved families, and local residents have provided valuable feedback, shaping health services that address the community's diverse needs. This collaborative process continues as we prepare for a new phase of service delivery beginning in April 2025.

Key objectives:

  • Develop clinically-led, culturally appropriate, Grenfell-specific health services
  • Ensure accountability and transparency in resource allocation
  • Foster ongoing community engagement through 2025 and beyond.

Service areas being considered include:

  • GP services
  • Adult long-term respiratory health monitoring
  •  Children and young people long-term monitoring
  • Emotional wellbeing support
  • Care coordination and physical health
